Kürşad Atalay

Kürşad Atalay is a scholar in economics and Research Assistant at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Ege University, where his dissertation examined the concept of nature in economic thought and its relationship to contemporary extractivist mining conflicts. His research interests include political ecology, environmental justice, extractivism and the social impacts of gold mining.
